“As an Indigenous amateur photographer and giant tree enthusiast, I have a deep interest in cultural significance of these giant beings. I have travelled extensively in Australia seeking to find and publish the very best examples to encourage interest and their protection. I want to bring the viewer back to a simpler time in the forgotten past when we first encountered these giants, when our childish hearts were filled with wonder, when the earth trembled in their presence. These giant sentinels were once revered, becoming legends and a source of national pride. They are at the roots of our history as a nation; they are iconic, eternal, and may it ever be so.”
